The course teaches legislation and the principles and practices for the verification of electrical installations. You will learn all the necessary information required for installations including testing, commissioning and certification.

- How to complete electrical installation condition reports and other supporting documentation
- Completing periodic inspections
- The differences between initial verification and periodic inspections
- Safe testing of installations already in service
- Safe testing before circuits have been energised
- How to test energised installations
- How to interpret and understand the results of testing
- Confirmation of the safety of systems and equipment before completion of the testing, inspection and commissioning
- Recording observations and classifications
In addition to the above skills there is a strong focus on health and safety and all the relevant documentation you will use is also covered. You will also learn about the correct procedures required when working with clients.

4 day course, online exam on the 5th day, practical training day and practical assessments.
